Lizzie Moult:
Reclaiming My Intuition After A Decade Of People Pleasing

Hello Beautiful Humans!
This month is for the givers, for the empaths, for the magically sensitive folks who pour out on the regular and who are looking for a little grounding.

This month, we are focusing on boundaries, self-compassion, and people-pleasing.

“Boundaries define us. They define what is me and what is not me. A boundary shows me where I end and someone else begins, leading me to a sense of ownership. Knowing what I am to own and take responsibility for gives me freedom.” – Henry Cloud

Here’s the thing: I believe boundaries often get misunderstood.

Folks talk about them like they are a block from deep relationship, a wall that keeps us from community and friendship, when in fact, they are the opposite!

Boundaries are the guidelines you live your life from showing you and others how you want to be treated.

In essence they are the map showing yourself and others how to have a healthy and thriving relationship with YOU.

This is what I like, this is what I don’t like.
This is ok with me, this is not ok with me.

Often people have a hard time with boundaries because they feel selfish, like they are holding back their goodness, but the fact is when we don’t take full responsibility for communicating our needs and wants, it keeps others from knowing us fully and it keeps us from having truly deep and meaningful relationships with the people who want to love us well.

Read that again: When you hold parts of yourself back (including YOUR needs and desires) it keeps others from getting to know you in a deep and meaningful way.

In the words of James-Olivia Chu Hillman, “More you is better.”

Friends, as you enter this month I encourage you to ask yourself:
︎︎︎ What do you need?
︎︎︎ Where do you receive and where do you give?
︎︎︎ What does an ideal reciprocial relationship looking to you (in frienship, at work, in love, etc.)
︎︎︎ If more YOU is better, where are you holding back? Where can you stop care-taking others and show up as your most full self?

To take us deeper in this conversation we have a beautiful podcast episode with Lizzie Moult a Mindset Mentor who joined me from her off-grid house in the rainforest.

Reclamation is ours,
